Filling Ingredients

  • 10 oz canned chicken, drained
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp Miracle Whip For a sweet and tangy flavor
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard Adds depth to the filling
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper Optional for more heat
  • 1/4 tsp celery seeds
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped For garnish and crunch

Dough

  • 4 cans crescent roll dough This is the outer layer

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together the canned chicken, cream cheese, Miracle Whip, Dijon mustard, black pepper, cayenne pepper, celery seeds, and green onions until well combined.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.

Assembly

  • Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle, then roll it up toward the narrow end, sealing the edges slightly to keep the filling inside.
  • Arrange the stuffed crescents on the prepared baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Serve warm, optionally with a dipping sauce of your choice.

Notes

Consider adding diced bell peppers or shredded cheese to the filling. Keep crescent rolls cold before baking for better flakiness. Experiment with different dipping sauces like ranch or honey mustard.
