Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with diced onion until the beef is browned and the onion becomes translucent.
  • Drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in the garlic powder and tomato sauce, followed by the cooked rice, sour cream, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  • Top generously with shredded cheddar cheese.

Baking

  • Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
