Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, combine the drained whole kernel corn, creamed corn, cream cheese, melted butter, milk, sugar (if using), salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • If using, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top.

Baking

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
  • Allow to cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
  • Sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
