Easy Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna

Ingredients
  

Pasta and Sauce

  • 1 bag frozen cheese ravioli These pasta pockets are filled with creamy cheese.
  • 1 jar 24 oz of your favorite pasta sauce Choose a sauce like marinara or tomato basil.

Cheese

  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese Adds a nutty and salty punch.
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Creates a gooey, luscious layer.

Protein

  • 1 lb ground beef, browned and drained Adds protein and makes the dish more filling.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat and set the beef aside.
  • Lightly grease the bottom and sides of your crockpot to prevent sticking.

Layering

  • Spread a thin layer of pasta sauce on the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Place a layer of frozen cheese ravioli on top of the sauce.
  • Sprinkle some browned ground beef over the ravioli.
  • Add a layer of shredded Parmesan and mozzarella cheese.
  • Continue layering with pasta sauce, ravioli, ground beef, and cheeses, ending with a final layer of cheese on top.

Cooking

  • Cover the crockpot with the lid and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.

Serving

  • Serve hot and garnish with extra Parmesan cheese or fresh herbs, if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding sautéed garlic or onions to the ground beef. You can also use vegetables for a vegetarian version. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
