Instructions

Make the Fried Rice

  • In a hot skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter or sesame oil. Sauté the diced onions until soft and translucent.
  • Add the scrambled eggs, cooked rice, a tablespoon of soy sauce, chopped green onions, and season with salt and pepper. Stir-fry until everything is heated through.

Cook the Steak

  • In a separate pan, melt another tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat.
  • Add in cubed sirloin steak, season with salt, pepper, and minced garlic, then splash in a tiny bit of soy sauce. Sear the steak for about 2 to 3 minutes until beautifully browned.

Sauté the Shrimp

  • In the same pan used for the steak, melt another tablespoon of butter and toss in the shrimp. Cook them for 1 to 2 minutes per side until they are pink and have a slightly crisp exterior.

Stir-Fry the Veggies

Make the Yum Yum Sauce

  • In a small bowl, whisk together mayo, ketchup, garlic powder, sugar, and rice vinegar or water until smooth.
