Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and phyllo dough. Layer half of the phyllo sheets in a greased springform pan, brushing each sheet with butter.
  • In another bowl, mix cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Stir in vanilla extract and honey.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture over the phyllo layers.
  • Top with chopped pistachios and cover with the remaining phyllo sheets, buttering each layer.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let cool, then refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.

Notes
