  • 1 small shallot, finely diced Adds mild sweetness
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced For aromatic depth
  • to taste Salt & black pepper Enhances flavors
  • 4 tbsp butter For the Alfredo sauce
  • 2 cups heavy cream For a rich, velvety texture
  • 1.25 cups grated parmesan cheese Adds a salty zing
  • 0.5 tsp cracked black pepper Gives a subtle kick
  • pinch nutmeg (optional) To elevate the flavor profile

Lasagna Structure Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained Creates the structure
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Known for its gooey stretch
  • 0.5 cup ricotta cheese (optional) For additional creaminess
  • to taste Chopped parsley For garnishing

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the finely diced shallots and minced garlic, cooking until soft and fragrant. Incorporate the chopped lobster meat, lightly seasoning it with salt and pepper, and sauté for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • In a separate saucepan, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over low heat. Add minced garlic, allowing it to soften, then pour in the heavy cream, stirring gently as it simmers. Gradually stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the Alfredo sauce is smooth and silky.

Assembly

  • In a greased baking dish, spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce at the bottom, followed by a layer of lasagna noodles. Add some lobster mixture, dollops of ricotta cheese (if using), shredded mozzarella, and more Alfredo sauce. Repeat layering until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of sauce and mozzarella on top.

Baking

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the lasagna for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly. Allow to rest for about 10 minutes before serving.

Serving

  • Plate individual portions and drizzle with any leftover Alfredo sauce if desired, garnishing with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding diced tomatoes or spinach between the layers. Letting the lasagna sit before cutting helps keep the layers intact. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 1 month.
