Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Melt the butter and mix in the minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Brush this mixture liberally over the split lobster tails.
  • Place the lobster tails in a baking dish and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the flesh is opaque and slightly golden.

Cooking Scallops

  • While the lobster is baking, heat the olive oil in a skillet over high heat.
  • Place the sea scallops in the pan, ensuring not to overcrowd, and sear for about 1 to 2 minutes on each side until golden.
  • Drizzle fresh lemon juice over the lobster and scallops with remaining melted butter as they near completion.

Serving

  • Plate the dish and sprinkle chopped parsley over both the lobster and scallops.
  • Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
  • Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

For an extra touch of flavor, add a pinch of crushed red pepper to the garlic butter. Let seafood rest briefly after cooking for enhanced juiciness.
