For Garnishing

  • to taste fresh parsley or cilantro For garnish.
  • 2 pieces lemon wedges For serving.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, ground cumin, ground coriander, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Optionally, add fresh chopped herbs like rosemary or thyme for extra flavor.

Marinating

  • Rub the marinade generously over the lamb chops, ensuring they are fully coated. Let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to 2 hours.

Cooking

  • Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the lamb chops for 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer for well-done. Ensure a nice sear for a caramelized crust.

Resting

  • Let the lamb chops rest for 5 minutes after cooking to retain their juices.

Serving

  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley or cilantro and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For optimal flavor, marinate the chops overnight if you can. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness; for medium-rare, target an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Let the meat rest after cooking for better texture.
