Ingredients

For the truffles

  • 200 g milk chocolate Feel free to opt for dark chocolate for a richer flavor
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter Silky and indulgent
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar Brings sweetness to the mix
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds a hint of aromatic bliss
  • 1/4 cup cookie crumbs Optional, for an extra crispy texture

Instructions

Preparation

  • Melt the chocolate using a double boiler or in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until completely melted and smooth.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy. Optionally, fold in the cookie crumbs for added texture.
  • Line a muffin tin with muffin liners for easy release.
  • Spoon a tablespoon of melted chocolate into each muffin liner, spreading evenly to create a base.
  • Add a teaspoon of the peanut butter mixture in the center of each chocolate base.
  • Cover the peanut butter filling with more melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully encased.
  • Refrigerate the muffin tin for at least one hour to let the truffles firm up.
  • Once set, remove the truffles from the muffin tin and peel away the liners before serving.

Notes

For an intense flavor, try using dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top for added flavor.
